f1 en vivo
"Reactive ride-height system" has become a common word in all Formula 1 teams for the upcoming season that is about to begin.

The preseason has started with a strong mood after the filtration of the first significant development: a ride height control system, in this case applied only to the front wheels of the car. The Lotus team, is willing to get back to the top and was the first of all on the track to test the height control system during the "Young drivers test" held in Abu Dhabi. Domenicali has recently said that Ferrari is also working on the same line and is waiting for the approval by the FIA.

What is the reactive system or ride-height control system?

When break pressure is applied a part of the oil goes to a small cylinder which elongates the front suspension strut. Normally you would see the front dip under the dynamic force shift from breaking. This systems compensates the dip by making a strut longer.
