Once again we arrive to a circuit that only have a single zone for the use of DRS. This has been confirmed Xavi Pujolar, the race engineer of Pastor Maldonado, through the social network “Twitter”.
Pujolar said that DRS detection point is at the exit of turn one, while the activation zone will be on the straight between turn 2 and turn 3, this straight is the longest of the entire circuit.
However, drivers will not be able to use the mobile wing for the whole straight, the trigger point will be located precisely in the middle of the line, where you can reach 300 km h.
